About The Show

Shark Tank Australia is back for a brand new season in 2016.

The hit Network Ten series sees the ‘Sharks’, who are collectively worth more than $1 billion, use their years of experience and success to take the inventions presented to them and turn them into real products and businesses – creating a new generation of millionaire entrepreneurs along the way.

The Sharks debate, argue over and judge the products and concepts brought to them – and, if they like what they see, compete to invest their own money.

Dr. Glen Richards, veterinary surgeon and founder and former CEO of Greencross, Australia’s largest pet care company, joins the show in 2016.

The highly successful entrepreneur, whose company is worth an estimated $700 million, joins resident Sharks Janine Allis (Boost Juice), Andrew Banks (Talent2), Steve Baxter (internet pioneer) and Naomi Simson (RedBalloon).

Who will have the best business bait, the right line and the smarts to win a likely tug-of-war? And will anyone be mauled in the Shark Tank?
