Network Ten has signed a historic lifetime programming deal with the internationally loved drama, The Bold and the Beautiful.

Entering its 28th year on TEN in 2015, the agreement will see The Bold and the Beautiful broadcast exclusively on TEN for the show’s entire run of series in Australia.

TEN first aired the premiere episode of The Bold and the Beautiful on November 23, 1987, and has been the Australian home of the iconic series ever since.

The Bold and the Beautiful is the world’s most-watched daytime television series, seen daily by an estimated audience of 35 million people in over 100 countries. In 2010, Guinness World Records® named it the Most Popular Daytime Soap currently on television.

Network Ten Chief Programming Officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “For nearly three decades, Australians have followed the entangled lives of the Forrester, Logan and Spencer families on TEN. We’re thrilled that TEN will always be the Australian home of The Bold and the Beautiful.”

The Bold and the Beautiful is consistently number one in its timeslot on TEN in total people, averaging a 33.8% commercial share.

Over the past 27 years, The Bold and the Beautiful has received 168 Daytime Emmy® Award Nominations and 55 Daytime Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
