I’m A Celebrity Shocks and Surprises

Five moments that made us say, 'what?'
When The Brady Bunch Met Jackson 5
“You guys like Michael Jackson?” Maureen McCormick piped up one night. She continued, ever so nonchalantly, to reveal that the two budding stars – aged about 16 at the time - had been an item! Cue shocked faces all around camp, and Australia-wide. Marcia Brady and the King of Pop, who’d have thought?
When the Lovebirds Arrived
When Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich of The Bachelor Australia season one gate-crashed the I’m A Celebrity camp, the existing celebs were thrilled. Once the surprise had worn off, some took issue with the genetically-blessed couple’s relationship status. Tim and Anna had each other, while the other campmates had to leave their loved ones behind. It’s not an ideal first impression...
When the Joke Was On Fev
Only one man could prank notorious prankster Fev, and that’s his co-pranker Warnie. Watch as Warnie delivers the performance of his life, convincing his best bud that he’s throwing in the I’m A Celebrity towel. Shocked, panicked and a little teary, Fev tries to turn the situation around to no avail. Can he stomach a taste of his own mischievous medicine?
When a Truce Was Called
Jo Beth and Laurina are both strong, vocal women so it’s not a huge surprise that, in the close confines of camp, they occasionally butted heads. What did make us double-take was the low-key end to their weeks-long feud. Their truce remained strong, with the two sharing a quick hug and a few kind words before Jo Beth departed for her scary World's End Tucker Trial.
When the Chief was Tricked
When radio duo Fitzy and Wippa donned false facial hair and ranger garb to sabotage the Chief’s Tucker Trial, we could barely watch. The Chief was far too good natured for this type of trickery! It was all worth it, though, for his classically ‘Chief’ reaction (surprise, relief and a huge smile) when the fraudsters revealed their true identities.
