Lamb Bolognese with Lentils

  1. Heat an oiled saucepan over medium heat and sweat the onion. Add the mince to brown.
  2. Add garlic, bay leaves, thyme and passata to the mince and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the lentils and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Bring half a saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook fettuccine as per packet instructions.
  5. Serve the fettuccine topped with bolognese and basil.
