A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Leah Vandenberg has been a regular on Australian stage and screen for the past two decades, performing guest and lead roles in a broad spectrum of shows spanning both comedy and drama.
In addition to her current, 10 year plus involvement as a presenter on ABC’s iconic children’s show, Play School, Leah’s early television credits include Blue Heelers, GP, Wildside, The Games, Backberner Grass Roots, MDA, Kath & Kim and The Murray Whelan Series.
In 2009, she won critical plaudits for her ongoing role in the television comedy series Stupid Stupid Man, for which she received an ASTRA Award nomination for Most Outstanding Performance by an Actor – Female.
Leah has also guest starred in many television productions including East of Everything, Sleuth 101, Tangle, Agony Aunts, The Agony Guide To Life, Fat Tony & Co., Catching Milat and Hide & Seek, plus the big screen thriller, Turkey Shoot Reloaded. She was also a series regular in Snake Tales.
Leah has also starred in many stage productions, including plays mounted by the Melbourne Theatre Company, B.Sharp/Belvoir Street, Railway Street Theatre, Tamarama Rock Surfers, Arena Theatre Company and Queensland Theatre Company.
