Australia’s highest paying jobs which don’t require a tertiary degree

No University degree? No Problem.
Indeed Australia and New Zealand managing director Chris McDonald has released a list featuring a number of high-paying jobs which don’t necessarily require a tertiary degree.
His list comes just days after the Federal Government handed down its budget which would see a fee hike of 7.5 percent for University students.
In addition, students will have to start paying off their HECs debts once they earn $42,000 or more, compared to the current $55,000.
Mr McDonald is urging young Australians not to panic, highlighting that there are a number of well-earning jobs which do not require a tertiary degree.
Firstly, Mr McDonald told News Corp the nation’s services industry employs four out of five Australians and most jobs within the industry don’t require a University degree.
He went on to explain that these roles are proving difficult to fill.
“Many trades are in demand with skills shortages meaning they offer good career prospects, including self-employment opportunities with the scope to earn salaries commensurate with other jobs that require a university degree,” Mr McDonald told News Corp.
“It’s important that job-seekers are aware of all the options available to them so that they can make informed decisions about career choices.”
Indeed also listed Australia’s top 22 best paying jobs which don’t usually require a degree.
At the top of the list was construction managers who earn an average salary of $153,213 a year. Maintenance managers ($110,030) and farm managers ($922,588) were close behind.
