TKO in round 2 after strong start for the AussieFormer UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos showed all his experience to stop Sydney's Tai 'Bam Bam' Tuivasa at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The main event between the Brazilian no.7 contender and the no.11, began with Tuivasa controlling the first round from the centre of the octagon, damaging Dos Santos' lead leg and affecting his mobility.
Local favourite Tuivasa continued his offensive, street-fighting style, but was caught by a string of punches with a clean right-hander sending him to the canvas.
Dos Santos rained down the punches and referee Herb Dean had little option but to stop the fight.
In the co-main event, Brazilian Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua beat Australian Tyson Pedro.
Pedro dominated the first round with his increased reach able to dictate a strong striking attack.
Rua came back in the 2nd round, taking Pedro to the ground, but the match finished in the 3rd round after a knee injury sent Pedro sprawling to the ground - Rua followed up with a barrage of punches and the referee stopped the fight.
