Olivia Phyland is the latest addition to The Loop team – and as an old mate of Tweedy, things are never quiet when she’s around!
A country girl from Wagga Wagga and lead singer and song writer of the band Jeanie – Liv was handpicked from hundreds of applicants to become The Loop’s new co-host. She’s got quite the voice (as her colleagues know all too well) and her latest project is learning how to play the guitar. Her cheeky sense of humour and lust for life is a welcome addition to The Loop family.
Liv started her TV career hosting ABC3’s Studio 3 in 2011, and she also appeared in her own extreme sports series, ‘Liv on the Edge’.
While she loves all kinds of music, Liv’s passion is for folk music – and that is what she most loves to sing and write. And with Scott’s love of dance music, you can be sure that choosing the tunes each week for The Loop is never easy!
Away from TV and music, Liv has completed a degree in Psychology and a course in Integrative Nutrition. She also loves to surf – and is determined to get better at it than Tweeds.
