It was during these years that Lisa discovered her passion for providing specialist and compassionate care for dogs and cats. In 2008, Lisa moved back to her home suburb of Bondi and was offered a position at SASH – the Small Animal Specialist Hospital. SASH provides a number of specialist services including internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, neurology and anaesthesia. It also has purpose built surgical theatres with state of the art equipment for bone and joint, soft tissue and eye surgery. SASH also has an emergency/after hour’s service called VETicu.
Working with a team of highly experienced, motivated and compassionate vets, Lisa treats and cares for a wide variety of cats and dogs, from Great Danes to Siamese cats to Chihuahuas.
In 2010, Lisa obtained post-graduate qualifications, becoming a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine.
Lisa is an ambassador for Purina, The Animal Welfare League and previously worked with Atopic Dermatitis Awareness for Dogs. She has made appearances on Network Ten's Ready Steady Cook, The Project, The Circle and TEN Eyewitness News. Lisa is also a favourite on the pet expo circuit, sharing her knowledge and animal know how with the public in her spare time.
Lisa now resides in Rose Bay, Sydney with husband Brad, son Hudson – who turns one this year – and her other babies, dogs Nelson and Lucas.
