- Heat an oiled pan over high heat, season and sear the beef.
- In a separate pan, sauté the onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add the cream and simmer over medium for 3 minutes.
- Bring half a saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook fettuccine as per packet instructions. Drain pasta from the water and add to the mushrooms with ¼ cup of the water and the cooked beef. Toss through and serve.
