Furnishing the Room
After de-cluttering, the room looks rather empty, so Barry added some pieces of furniture and plants to the space. The storage unit is also functional as it can store items and keep clutter at bay.
Entertainment Room: Before and After De-cluttering
Over the years the Di Fabrizio's entertainment room has become so cluttered, they can’t walk in without tripping over something. Now, with the help of Barry and Peter, they have a comfortable and stylish place to live together and entertain
Debbie's New Craft Area
Barry zones the room into two areas, one being a craft area for Debbie. The craft area has a new craft bench to work at, along with plenty of storage tubs adorned with Avery labels, so she has no excuse for not keeping the room tidy.
Creating an Island Vibe
Rattan armchairs, a jute rug, hand-woven baskets, some green plants and tropical print cushions keep the island vibe going and give the Di Fabrizio’s a comfortable and stylish place to live and entertain
Greenery in the Entertainment Room
Barry adds some green plants to room to help bring some life and a tropical island vibe to the now empty room.
While the big glass windows are a real benefit, they can also leave the room susceptible to temperature changes. Barry installs insulation foam in the gabled roof and covers this with bamboo sheets; a motif that is extended to the window blinds and gives the room a welcoming island-style vibe.
